GLOBAL TEST Official Website Meet the Survivors of the Apocalypse Even in a world filled with despair, there are those who have survived. In this newsletter, we’ll introduce the survivors and their communities in the world of DARKEST DAYS. We’ll also take a closer look at the Masked Band, a violent group driven by their own selfish desires. Diverse Survivor Communities The survivors of Sand Creek each have their own stories. Some were lucky enough to survive by chance, while others were rescued from peril just in time. To increase their chances of survival, they banded together to form various survivor communities. End People Community A community formed by survival expert Boby Booker of those who could not make it to shelters. They believe that in order to survive in this bleak world, it's crucial to join forces with other communities, and are actively investigating the hostile group of survivors known as "The Masked Band". Medical Supporter Community Formed by hospital staff who banded together during the initial zombie outbreak, this community is dedicated to restoring healthcare in the apocalypse. Interestingly, a film crew shooting at the hospital during the outbreak joined forces with them, contributing to their efforts. Sheltic Network: Connecting Survivor Communities Though survival requires unity, network systems remain intact in this world. The Sheltic Network is the system that connects survivors in the world of DARKEST DAYS. Accessing the Sheltic Network requires a unique registration process, but its origins and those who oversee it remain shrouded in mystery. The Outlaws of Sand Creek: The Masked Band Notorious for their violent acts and atrocities, the Masked Band is a group of outlaws occupying survivor community settlements in Sand Creek by force. Hiding their identities behind masks, their true motives and leadership remain unknown. Your mission is to liberate the settlements occupied by the Masked Band and restore these homes to the survivor communities.

Unveiling the World of the Apocalypse Welcome to the zombie apocalypse world. In this newsletter, we introduce the survivors to the defining characteristics of zombies, the beings that plunged the world of Darkest Days into darkness, as well as the background of the zombie apocalypse. The Masters of the Apocalypse: Zombies The true rulers of the Darkest Days apocalypse world are zombies. Zombies are extremely sensitive to sound and can spread the deadly zombie virus with mere contact with humans. While infection can be cured using Infection Cure Shots, many people were unable to secure these treatments during the early days of the apocalypse and could not escape their fate of turning into zombies. Some zombies have mutated into more bizarre and powerful forms due to unique environmental factors. Before venturing into the apocalypse, learn about these zombies and prepare for their attacks. Ruptures emit toxic gas from their bodies to attack survivors. They also explode on death, so be sure to keep your distance when dealing with them. Squitos may appear ordinary, but they have overwhelming agility, enabling them to evade attacks and launch terrifying charges. Be cautious as to avoid being knocked down by their assaults. Howlers are mutants that not only attack with menacing mucus but also threaten survivors with deafening roars. Eliminate them quickly before you are detected. Darkest DaysApocalypse Timeline 2016 2016 A few years before the zombie outbreak, research aimed at preventing aging and extending life began, led by several corporations. During this time, a phenomenon was discovered in the Japan Trench, where large numbers of fish were seen swimming while dead, prompting intensive research into the occurrence. 2023 2023 Researchers later discovered that a virus isolated from the dead-swimming fish known as the 'Mariana Snailfish' triggered cellular self-repair. This virus was named the 'Blessing of Nature (BON)' and became a symbol of humanity's fight against aging. 2024 2024 While experiments on the BON virus were actively progressing, all experiments were abruptly halted, and research data was destroyed. Then, in 2025, a shocking incident occurred where humans began attacking and eating each other. However, this was just the prelude to the zombie apocalypse that would engulf the world.

In this newsletter, explore the open world of DARKEST DAYS, spanning over 36 square kilometers, and prepare yourself in advance for the apocalypse adventure! Day and Night in Sand Creek Survivor, your journey begins in the harsh desert climate of Sand Creek. By day, the scorching sun and dust create a barren impression, but when night falls, it transforms into a chilling place where you must brace for zombie attacks lurking in the darkness. Sand Creek’s nights are especially dark. Be sure to keep your light on and watch out for dangers hidden in unseen places. Codex Recording Points As you travel through the desolate Sand Creek devastated by the zombie apocalypse, you’ll come across codex recording points scattered throughout the area. These recordable locations range from Sand Creek's landmarks to scars left by the zombie apocalypse. When you find a recording point on your journey, be sure to register it in your codex to uncover the backstory of the area. Open Worldof Diverse Environments As your journey progresses, you'll have the opportunity to explore various worlds beyond Sand Creek. Discover regions with unique atmospheres and characteristics different from Sand Creek, and uncover hidden delights throughout every corner of the open world. Bielli Island Bielli Island, meaning "White Island," lives up to its name with breathtaking snow-covered mountains. Due to its abundant renewable resources buried throughout the island, it attracted many people. However, after the outbreak, it became a zombie-infested island. Holitore Holitore, once a beautiful resort on the continent's southwestern coast, could not escape the zombie virus. The beaches, once bustling with surfers, are now overrun with zombies, and oil from a wrecked tanker that failed to escape the disaster now coats the sand. Pamrein Pamrein is a place where you can experience the serene charm of yellow autumn leaves scattered throughout. To the west on a coastal island lies a prison, while a large power plant to the east serves as a regional landmark. However, the current Pamrein is a desolate area filled only with zombies that have overrun the region since the outbreak.
